At A1 Cooling Technology Ltd, we install, service and maintain all makes and models of dehumidifiers for the pottery, confectionary, timber & brick manufacturing industries as well as the smaller domestic machines.
Dehumidifiers come in all shapes and sizes ranging from small portable Ebac type machines capable of the prevention of damaging moisture to the fabric and construction of your home, to custom built high temperature drying chambers the size of a football pitch with 50 horse power of refrigeration duty operating at a chamber temperature of 70 oC for industrial drying applications.

What causes damp and condensation in the home ? |
All air, quite naturally, contains a degree of moisture. Perfectly normal everyday things we do from showering to even breathing all add to the moisture in our homes. Central heating, which actually disguises moisture in the air, double glazing and draught sealing around doors just make matters worse. When warm moisture laden air meets cold surfaces such as windows and walls, it condenses creating condensation on windows and damp on walls. Moisture will also be transmitted into the external wall and condense, this is because the inside of the wall is usually colder than the air in the room.
In time, moisture causes mould, or worse, damage to the actual fibre of your home. Expensive, unsightly and inconvenient redecoration, repair of walls and replacement of rotten woodwork can all be easily avoided with regular use of a dehumidifier.
